Mr. Danjuma P. Waniko

Mr. Waniko is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Chartered Environmentalist and Green Star SA Accredited Professional. He is an accomplished built environment professional with over three decades experience working as a project manager, cost consultant and sustainability consultant in the Nigerian construction industry. An enthusiastic advocate for environmental and social responsibility, Mr. Waniko has been actively engaged in sustainability for close to twenty years, with a focus on green building. He currently leads Q Associates, a cost, project management & sustainability consultancy firm he founded in 1996, with offices in Abuja, Nigeria.

Arc. Emmanuel B. Falude

Arc. Falude is CEO at Litedares and BeforeYouBuy Africa, both located in Lagos, Nigeria. He is an experienced architect, USGBC faculty, sustainability leader and waste to home expert with an exceptional record of successful and timely completion of projects for low-income earners. He aims at delivering innovative yet sustainable, inspiring yet environment-friendly designs whilst promoting an enjoyable partnership with clients. Emmanuel is passionate about creating livable healthy cities that are affordable and will cater to Africa’s rapidly growing population with expert level proficiency in Project management.

Bldr. Adekunle I. Onabekun

Bldr. Onabekun is the Managing Director of Beksolar Ventures Ltd, Head of Working Group at the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), and Founder of Masjid Builders Foundation. He is a result-oriented individual, extremely focused, and self-motivated person. He strives well with challenging assignments and has excellent analytical abilities. Adekunle is a Chartered and Registered Builder with CIOB & Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria. He is a BIM Expert and training consultant with top notch international exposure. In addition to his Bachelor of Technology degree in Building from Federal University of Technology, Minna, Bldr. Onabekun holds a variety of certifications in Building Information Modeling, Sustainability and Green Building.

Mrs. Jacqueline Aki

Designer, Builder

Aki currently sits as the Managing Partner, James Cubitt Interiors, a preeminent interior design consultancy with various locations in West Africa. With over 20 years of experience in the built environment sector as a Builder and Designer,
She has led mid to large-scale commercial and residential projects in Nigeria with a strong focus on cradle-to-cradle design, occupants well being, and safety through clear establishment of end-user needs and efficient execution of proposed solutions.
Her belief in the value of local talents, drives her mission in the sector and her promotion of local capacity building, through strategic collaborations within the sector, to an extent that is comparable with global standards.

Engr. Emmanuel Madojemu

PMP, LEED AP, WELL AP, CSSGB, NEBOSH

Director of Research & Development

Engr. Madojemu is an experienced civil engineer and green building consultant, currently working as Project Coordinator at Amecron / Shell Petroleum Development Company Nigeria Limited in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He is a passionate and highly driven project engineer with over ten years’ experience in managing several civil engineering projects. Emmanuel’s areas of expertise include project management, design and planning, cost estimating, as well as design and construction of high-performance buildings.

Arc. Omoyemi T. Olayiwola

Director of Policy & Advocacy

A graduate of University of Lagos with a Master’s in Environmental Design, Omoyemi has worked professionally for over nine years with one of Nigeria’s foremost architectural firms, FMA Architects Ltd, as a senior architect and sustainability associate. She is a full member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects, Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and LEED Green Associate; Omoyemi has received a couple of awards in her professional journey from organizations such as the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC). She takes time to volunteer with organizations who support the cause of creating a better environment like SLUM2SCHOOL and advocates for sustainability at various public forums. She is currently a 2022 Fate Foundation Aspiring Entrepreneurs sustainability scholar.
