Muhammad Murtala Aliyu

FNIQS, FNIM, RQS, CCA

Chairman of Board of Trustees

Murtala Aliyu holds a Bachelor of Science degree with second class honors in quantity surveying and a Master’s in Business Administration, both from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is currently the Principal Partner of Associated Cost Consultants, and one of the founders of Afri-Project Consortium, a renowned multi-disciplinary engineering and project management consultancy firm. Murtala Aliyu has served the federal Republic of Nigeria in several capacities including that of the Minister of State for Power and Steel (2001 to 2002). He was a member, Governing Council, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Bauchi (1999 to 2001), member Governing Council, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko (2003 to 2007) and member of the Governing Council, Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH) Okitipupa (now Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology) from 2007 to 2009. In the professional realm, he is fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (FNIQS), chartered Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Management (FNIM), member, Institute of Directors, UK, Chartered Construction Arbitrator (CCA). He was elected deputy President of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) (2011 to 2013) and the President between 2013 to 2015. He also served as the vice president, Quantity Surveyors Registration Board (QSRBN) from 2011 to 2013, becoming its President in June 2017. Murtala is also the Secretary General of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) 2020 to date. He is a member and/or chair of various company Boards which include Gombe State Investment Company, Crittal-Hope Kaduna Ltd, Arewa Metal Containers (ARMECO), Ltd, Woodkraft Ltd, Capita Norman and Dawbarn Ltd, Deap Capital Investment and Management Plc, Liberitas Plc and Rynesis Plc. He is a Trustee of NIQS Foundation, a Trustee of F.G.C.O.O.S.A. (Federal Government College Odogbolu Old Boys Association), Trustee of Society for Construction Law, Trustee of WAFF Road Mosque Forum and Trustee of Gombe Elders Forum. He is Mutawallen Gombe (a member of Gombe Emirate Council) 2001 to date.

Prof. (Mrs.) Oludolapo Olutosin Amole

Dolapo Amole is a Professor in the Department of Architecture, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. She had her Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate in Architecture at the same University. She has been teaching architecture over 30 years and in 2019 and she’s the initiator and Coordinator of the first University-based Interior Design program in Nigeria. Dolapo is professionally registered with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), She is also a member of the Association of Architectural Educators in Nigeria (AARCHES) and a member LEGACY (An Environmental and Historical Interest Group of Nigeria). She is an Alumnus of HERS, South Africa (a Gender Network in Higher Education); IHS (Institute of Housing Studies, Netherlands). She is a member of the Editorial Board and Reviewer for international and local journals. She has published over fifty articles in the areas of Post-occupancy Evaluation, Students Housing, Health and Housing, Gender and Housing, and Environment-Behavior. Dolapo is a seasoned design educator, a professional Monitoring and Evaluation consultant, a trained Facilitator, and a trained Fundraiser. She has consulting experience in M&E in various Gender, Health, and Education projects. She has also facilitated many workshops especially in Gender, Fundraising and Monitoring and Evaluation.

Engr. Ishaku Maigida

JP MNSE, MNICE

Engr. Ishaku Maigida is the Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Maicat Nigeria Limited, a company well known for global standard delivery in the construction industry in Nigeria. He is a certified Civil Engineer and also holds an MSc in Environmental Resource Management. He is member of different professional bodies which include Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), Nigeria Institute of Civil Engineers (MNICE), and Association of Consulting Engineers (ACEN). Engr. Maigida has contributed immensely to the infrastructural development of Nigeria with most of his project cut across the length and breadth of the country. He is a recipient of several awards and recognitions amongst which are: Award for Philanthropy – Igbo Community, Jikwoyi, Abuja (ICA); Meritorious Award by Institute of Professional Manager and Administration of Nigeria (IPNA); Award of Recognition by Student Union Government (SUG) House of Parliament, University of Jos; Outstanding Service Award by Rotary Club of Abuja, District 9125, Jabi Lake, Abuja; Award of Credence by Competence Governance for Accountability and Civic Trust for contribution in the Nigerian private section (Construction); Unwavering Commitment to Africa Award by Salvage Africa Advocacy Initiative.

Bldr. Olalekan Abdulfatai Oladipupo

Bldr. Oladipupo Olalekan Abdulfatai was veteran Public Servant, who manages the assets of The Nigerian Police Force professional services throughout the project lifecycle – from planning, design and engineering to program and construction management. During his 37-year career, Bldr. Oladipupo has overseen the construction of some of the best most iconic buildings. His current work encompasses several high-profile megaprojects, including 22 luxury apartments in Abuja and the largest event centre in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria respectively. Under his leadership, the Construction Management business has grown to the best general contractor in Nigeria with many multi-nationals. In addition, his efforts have expanded the company’s coast-to-coast reach, with ADIGCON now recognized as the one of the Real Estate construction companies in Nigeria. He has earned recognition on professional level and other regional chieftain titles of high pedigree in Nigeria and international. Holds a B.S. in Building from prestigious University of Ife now Obafemi Awolowo OAU and Master of Science in Construction Management from University of Lagos. Currently on application to become Chartered Builder with CIOB and Green Star Accredited Professional with GBCSA respectively. On projects spanning transportation, buildings, water, energy and the environment, Bldr. Oladipupo’s public- and private-sector clients trust him to solve their most complex challenges. Arc. Anthony Chukwuma Okoye

Arc. Okoye is presently the Managing Partner of Design Genre Limited. Mr. Okoye practiced architecture and urban planning with firms in the USA, UK, and Nigeria in various capacities. The firms include Wallace Roberts and Todd, LLC, USA; Sir Frank Mears Associates, Edinburgh Scotland; Design Group Nigeria and Godwin Hopwood and Kuye. He is a recipient of AIA President award for Design of a Green Community off the grid. He has written publications on Green Design in the Venture Career Journal-2012, he worked with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the Nigerian Energy Support Program (NESP) to develop Guidelines for Energy Efficiency in Buildings in Nigeria. Anthony has been an External Juror to Drexel University’s Philadelphia urban design and architecture studio from 2002 to 2008. Designed LEED certified projects in the US – Jersey City and Long Branch N.J. Also designed the National Information Technology Centre, Abuja, Education Centre, Abia, all with environmental sustainability features. He also recently completed the Entrepreneurs’ Organization Master’s Program at MIT Endicott House, Boston USA, and holds an impressive array of qualifications and awards, including Andrew Grant Prize, Edinburgh College of Art; RIBA-USA Award for the off grid Sustainable settlement; AIA Presidents Award for Design of an off Grid sustainable Settlement – Urban Kidney; RIBA Award for Design of Sittingborne Town Extension; British Chevening Scholar – 1995 – 1997; MIT/EO Masters in Entrepreneurship – 2015; LEED Accredited Professional – US Green  Building Council; RIBA -Chartered Member; NIA/ ARCON – Chartered Member; Fellow Nigerian Institute of Architects; M.Sc.
